Emily Shaut

Associate Attorney

Emily Shaut is an associate attorney at Lubin & Meyer. Prior to joining the firm, Emily graduated from Emmanuel College in Boston, and then from Suffolk University Law School where she was part of the accelerated evening J.D. program.

After graduating from Emmanuel and throughout law school, Emily worked full-time as a paralegal at a personal injury law firm in Boston while attending classes at night. During her second year of law school, she served as a teaching assistant in a legal practice skills course and was a case comment writer for the Journal of Trial and Appellate Advocacy. In her final year of law school, she was an associate executive editor on the journal and a Supreme Judicial Court Rule 3:03 Certified Student Practitioner in the Innocence Clinic where she had the opportunity to work on a wrongful conviction case.

Immediately after law school, Emily worked as a public defense attorney in Malden District Court, Cambridge District Court, and Somerville District Court, where she gained valuable experience. 

Emily is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
