Mary Wenham

Medical Case Analyst

Mary Wenham is a medical case analyst at Lubin & Meyer, and serves as co-chair of the firm’s Case Evaluation Department. She has been with the firm since 2005 and plays a central role in the initial review, investigation, and development of complex medical malpractice claims.

Ms. Wenham oversees the evaluation and investigation of the firm’s birth injury and obstetrical malpractice matters, including cases involving maternal injury and maternal death. Her work involves detailed medical record analysis, legal and medical research, and close coordination with medical experts to determine whether the standard of care was violated and whether patients were harmed as a result. She has been involved in a number of successful claims that other firms have declined to pursue, many involving complex medical issues arising in surgical and intensive-care settings.

She is also a member of the legal team in Lubin & Meyer’s landmark class-action lawsuit against former Boston rheumatologist Derrick Todd, M.D., representing more than 200 women and men who allege sexual assault and inappropriate medical examinations. 

Ms. Wenham earned a B.A. in English from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. In addition to her work at the firm, she is an invited lecturer and seminar chair for Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE), where she presents on medical record analysis and the evaluation of medical issues in personal injury and medical malpractice claims.
