Deborah Shea comes to Lubin & Meyer with over 23 years of nursing experience. Her career started in a Boston area hospital as a medical-surgical nurse. Deborah soon began work as an intensive care unit nurse, which led to experiences in post operative recovery and emergency room nursing. Deborah has an extensive home care background where she provided case management for a variety of patients with multiple disease processes. She also helped in developing discharge plans for patients returning home after hospitalization. As a manager she was responsible for staff training and teaching, development and implementation of policies, and record review for quality assurance. Her most recent experience was in pediatrics, where she was responsible for the management of a school health office as well as the emergency care and overall well-being of students. Deborah has always firmly believed in advocacy for her patients and brings that commitment with her to Lubin & Meyer. |
