Krysia J. Syska A graduate of Suffolk University Law School and admitted to practice in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire, Attorney Syska joined the firm in 1990, and has been a partner at the firm since 2001. During this time, she has been actively involved in numerous record-setting medical malpractice verdicts and settlements; many of which have been highlighted and featured in various publications from Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly and The Boston Globe to several national verdict reporting publications. Most recently, she participated in securing a $4.85 million settlement for a baby who developed multiple medical problems consistent with hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy, and $4.9 million settlement for a baby who suffered severe brain damage during labor and delivery. Attorney Syska is selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® for 2012, and has achieved an AV-rating (Martindale-Hubbell's highest peer-review rating for ethical standards and legal ability). She is named a 2011 Massachusetts Super Lawyer on the Top 50 Women list, and has been named a Massachusetts Super Lawyer in the area medical malpractice each year since 2008 (having previously been named a Massachusetts Rising Stars Super Lawyers for each year from 2005–2007) as published in Boston Magazine. She is regularly called upon to speak at professional and continuing legal education seminars on the topic of personal injury law and advances in the area of medical malpractice. Attorney Syska recently served as co-chair of the Tort Committee of the Boston Bar Association's Litigation Section.
