The Leader in Medical Malpractice Law and Personal Injury Litigation
Lubin & Meyer has long been recognized as the leader in both medical malpractice and catastrophic personal injury law committed to pursing the rights of injured persons and their families in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island.
Year in and year out, Lubin & Meyer achieves more million-dollar-plus verdicts and settlements than any other firm in the region.
Exposing Dangerous Practices. Improving Health Care.
Lubin & Meyer does more than obtain compensation for its clients’ injuries—the firm works to expose dangerous medical practices and hold professionals and institutions accountable for life-altering mistakes. The firm’s founding partner, Andrew C. Meyer Jr., was recently featured in a Boston Magazine exposé where he held the Massachusetts medical system accountable for covering up and allowing dangerous doctors to continue to practice in the state and elsewhere. The magazine recognized Lubin & Meyer as a “patient’s only recourse against dangerous doctors.”
Lubin & Meyer negotiates settlements that often require changes in hospital policies to help ensure similar harms will not happen to other patients. Its lawsuits shine a light on flawed systems and puts pressure on health care institutions to improve patient safety. The most recent example of this: In July, the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine changed its policy on concurrent surgeries, now requiring surgeons to sign in and out of the operating room. This comes three and a half years after investigative reporting by The Boston Globe exposed the practice, and after Lubin & Meyer filed lawsuits on behalf of patients who were injured during surgery when their surgeon was overseeing two surgeries at once.
Serving Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island
Lubin & Meyer's attorneys are recognized by clients and referring attorneys alike for their legal skills, professional integrity and personal approach.
"I expected the great representation in the courtroom that Lubin & Meyer is known for. I did not expect the level of compassion and understanding that I received from my lawyer."

With nine attorneys recognized on this year's Super Lawyers and Rising Stars lists, the firm maintains its position at the forefront of personal injury law, exposing dangerous practices and flawed systems; holding professionals and institutions accountable for their mistakes; and rebuilding the lives of its injured clients.
"At the end of the day," says firm founder Andrew C. Meyer, Jr., "our jobs have less to do with multimillion-dollar settlements than about giving a voice to individuals and families who have experienced needless tragedy at the hands of a medical professional."
Lubin & Meyer PC represents clients in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island.
