Attorneys Satin and Syska Among
Best Young Lawyers in Massachusetts
May 1, 2006
BOSTON, MA — Two medical malpractice lawyers at
law firm Lubin & Meyer PC, have been selected as "Massachusetts
Rising Stars Super Lawyers 2006" in the May issue of Boston
magazine. The list is based on a balloting process involving top attorneys
from across Massachusetts and conducted by an attorney-led research department
at Law & Politics magazine. All rising stars are either under
40 years of age, or have been practicing law for 10 or fewer years. The
list represents the top 2.5 percent of up-and-coming lawyers in Massachusetts.
In the Medical Malpractice: Plaintiff category, two
of the four lawyers selected were attorneys from Lubin & Meyer
PC. They are: Adam Satin and Krysia
Syska.
Syska is also featured in a SuperLawyers "Ask
a Rising Star..." sidebar, which asks the question: "Can I sue
a doctor even if I signed a consent form before a procedure?" The
sidebar includes Attorney Syska's response to the question which includes
this advice: "The simple signing of a consent form... does not preclude
a patient from pursuing a lawsuit if injuries sustained were due to a
physician's negligence."
The two attorneys work under the tutelage of Andrew
C. Meyer, Jr., founding partner of Lubin & Meyer PC, who was selected
to the Top 100 Massachusetts Super Lawyers list featured in the November
2004 issue of Boston magazine. Meyer's firm is recognized for consistently
achieving record-setting verdicts and medical malpractice settlements
as well as innovative approaches on precedent-setting issues.
Meyer also tops the list of best personal injury attorneys
in Boston magazine's most recent "The Best Lawyers" issue.
