On March 27, 2024, Lubin & Meyer Attorney William Thompson filed a new, "master" complaint in Suffolk Superior Court that consolidates the multiple lawsuits filed against Dr. Derrick Todd. Thompson, who is lead counsel on the case, says that the class action lawsuit now represents 206 plaintiffs who are former patients.
Lubin & Meyer lawyers had filed a class action lawsuit on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, on behalf of patients of Dr. Derrick Todd, a former Brigham and Women’s rheumatologist facing allegations of sexual assault including inappropriate pelvic and breast exams, initially reported in The Boston Globe on October 6.
