Patrick M. Haggan
Patrick M. Haggan is a trial attorney at Lubin & Meyer. Prior to joining Lubin & Meyer, Attorney Haggan was a prosecutor at the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office for 24 years. He served for eight of those years as the First Assistant District Attorney, overseeing 160 lawyers and more than 30,000 criminal cases each year. As the lead courtroom prosecutor in that office, Attorney Haggan handled numerous complex and high profile murder trials, including the 2017 double murder trial of former New England Patriot Aaron Hernandez.
In the course of his career, Attorney Haggan has tried dozens of superior court trials involving various serious crimes, including over 30 murder trials.
Attorney Haggan is the recipient of multiple professional recognitions including:
- The Massachusetts District Attorney’s Association Prosecutor of the Year Award
- The Suffolk Award for Outstanding Superior Court Prosecutor
- The Paul McLaughlin Award for a Career Marked by Courage in the Pursuit of Justice.
A 1991 graduate of Boston College, Attorney Haggan received his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School in 1994. He is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the State of Connecticut.
