Case Reviewer / Medical Analyst

Lubin & Meyer is seeking an attorney and/or nursing professional, preferably with an advanced degree, to manage a caseload of prospective clients and potential medical malpractice claims at various stages of intake and evaluation.

Responsibilities include: screening prospective client inquiries, conducting detailed new-client intakes, reviewing and analyzing medical records, identifying significant medical and factual issues, evaluating potential claims, researching medical topics, communicating with clients, and working with medical experts and attorneys throughout the case evaluation process.

Candidates must have prior experience reviewing and analyzing medical records and be able to efficiently synthesize complex medical information, identify relevant issues, and communicate their findings clearly in writing and verbally.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and critical-thinking skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, superior interpersonal skills, and the ability to exercise sound judgment while working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

The position requires a high degree of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple matters and competing priorities.

Strong technical and computer skills are essential. Candidates must be comfortable learning and working with multiple software platforms and electronic systems and should be highly proficient with Microsoft Word, PDF documents, electronic medical records, and electronic document review and management.

The successful candidate should be technologically adept, able to learn new programs quickly, and comfortable working extensively with large volumes of electronic records and documents.

Experience in medical malpractice, legal case evaluation, utilization review, clinical documentation review, or a related field is preferred.

Candidates should have at least 3-5 years of legal/clinical experience.

Salary range: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00.
