Darlene Danielle Toolin, R.N., Esq.

Darlene Danielle Toolin is an associate attorney at Lubin & Meyer. Prior to joining Lubin & Meyer in 2019, Attorney Toolin worked as a registered nurse with over a decade of nursing experience. Her nursing career began in the long-term care setting and she quickly advanced within the nursing field thanks to her unparalleled commitment to patient care and her keen clinical skills.

Within the nursing field, she worked in a variety of settings including psychiatric care, hospice, quality improvement, and infection control. She has held various supervisory roles including staff educator and director of nursing. Attorney Toolin assisted in the development and implementation of policies and procedures and she has a strong desire to continue to advocate for patients’ rights.

Having witnessed the challenges patients face when navigating our healthcare systems, Attorney Toolin attended law school in order to better advocate for those who have been injured in the course of their treatment. Attorney Toolin believes that patients put their trust and their lives in the hands of medical providers and when that trust is violated, they need a voice to speak up for them. She brings this commitment to Lubin & Meyer.

Attorney Toolin received her undergraduate degree from Chamberlain College of Nursing (B.S., Nursing) and she received her law degree from Massachusetts School of Law (J.D.).

Attorney Toolin is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Attorneys and she is a volunteer for the American Association for Justice (AAJ) annual trial competition as trial judge.
